About Us
The MD Equine Center was established by a Mother/Daughter team who has a long love for horses. The MD Equine Center is a family owned and ran facility offering the very best in equine activities.
Terri A. Jackson, owner, office manager, kids riding instructor and party planner has a Master's Degree in Education Administration. She is a former elementary teacher and has experience in all levels of dealing with children. She has been giving kids basic western horseback riding lessons for over three years. Terri and her 6 and 5 year old sons show horses and have won year end High Point Awards and qualified and placed in year end invitational championship shows. Terri has served as an officer and board of director for the Mid Missouri Stock Horse Association. She is currently a member of the Mid Rivers Saddle Club.
Anna Morgan, barn manager and riding instructor has been in the horse industry for over 44 years in many different aspects. She judges horse shows and fair shows. She worked in a breeding farm for miniature horses in which she also trained them to do tricks for a tourist show in Eureka Springs, Ark. She ran a trail ride at a large resort for 9 years. She has given riding lessons, boarded horses and done round pen training for numerous people at her home ranch in Southwest Missouri and now at MD Equine Center. She has shown horses for the past 39 years from barrel racing, western pleasure, english and more in AQHA, PHA and open shows. In 2007 she was voted by members of the MMSHA as the Rookie of the Year for her first year showing in the associtation. She has also served on the board of directors for MMSHA and is currently a member of the Mid Rivers Saddle Club.
Anna and Terri are members of and/or show in the AQHA, PHA/PHBA, AMHA, APHA and the Mid Rivers Saddle Club.
The MD Equine Center's mission is to provide an environment of equine excellence.
